On Dec 10th 2018, a team of Officers from the “Allied Command Transformation” - ACT and the FINCENT Training Center Finland, visited the premises of “Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Center” - MPSOTC, in the framework of the ongoing evaluation process concerning MPSOTC compliance with the “NATO Quality Assurance Accreditation’’.

   All 22 participants from Greece, Pakistan, China, and the United Arab Emirates successfully completed the Course, having gained critical qualifications for conducting Civil-Military Cooperation operations. During the first week of the Course, theoretical subjects were taught about doctrine, the organization of forces, role of NGOs, GOs, and IOs, communication skills, as well as the role of women and children in civil-military operations.  NATO PTEC Market Place was held on 27 Νovember 2018 in NATO HQ  in Brussels. MPSOTC DCOM Col Arampatzis Nikolaos and staff officer Maj Anastasiou Evangellos participated in this event. During this  promotional event, the MPSOTC representatives informed the visitors about its training capabilities and activities, via audio / visual equipment and brochures and presented the Course Guide for 2019.

November 13, 2018

   On Oct 29th 2018 the “Crisis Response to Irregular Migration & Refugees’ Flows” Course started as scheduled, in MPSOTC premises and concluded on the 9th November 2018.

   21 students, active members of Armed/Police Forces and civilians, from China, Cyprus, Hellas and Saudi Arabia have responded with participation in this 2 weeks course.

   During the course, students attended 46 hours of academic classes, and 10 hours of spot visits to a “Refugees Temporary Reception Camp” and a border check point, in order to familiarize and comprehend the related subject.
