UN Military Units Manuals Seminar.
From 15 to 17 March 2016 Hellenic MPSOTC hosted the third regional “UN Military Units Manuals Seminar” in Thessaloniki. The Seminar took place in Grand Hotel Palace and was attended 41 participants from 20 Countries (Albania, Denmark, Fiji, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Israel, Italy, Kuwait, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore and United Arabic Emirates).
During the Seminar, the participants had the opportunity to be informed about the Military Units Manuals that have been developed by the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO) with the contribution of many subject matter experts coming from all over the world.
During the last day a cultural visit took place in the Macedonian Royal tomb of King Philip the 2nd in Vergina.
