From 16 to 20 January 2023, MPSOTC conducted the International Humanitarian Law Course. The Course was held in a distance learning format and was attended by 40 participants from 7 Countries. The students had the opportunity to enhance their understanding of legal, political, and practical dimensions of International Humanitarian Law in protecting civilians and cultural heritage in an armed conflict environment. Furthermore, they improved their awareness of threats, needs, and vulnerabilities of different groups of civilians. Finally, they will be in a position to apply strategies at an operational level and employ suitable measures on the ground, according to International Humanitarian Law.
