From February 17 to 28, 2025, the Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Center (MPSOTC) organized the ” NATO Public Affairs Officers’ Course ” at its facilities in Kilkis. The training was attended by 44 participants from 18 countries, aiming to enhance their skills in public affairs within the framework of strategic communication during Peace Support Operations.

The MPSOTC training team, consisting of experienced officers, communication experts, and journalists from Greece and abroad, in cooperation with NATO SHAPE, provided high-quality training to the participants. The program focused on crisis management, interaction with the media, and the analysis of communication policies both in peacetime and during operational deployments.

Additionally, as part of the course, the trainees had the opportunity to visit the studio of the public television channel ERT-3 in Thessaloniki. This interactive visit enriched their practical knowledge. Finally, the participants visited the archaeological sites of Vergina (Royal Tombs Museum, resting place of King Philip II) and Pella (birthplace of Alexander the Great).

With over 15 years of experience in organizing public affairs programs, the MPSOTC has established itself as a leading training institution in Europe in the field of Strategic Communications. To date, it has trained more than 800 participants from 63 countries, making a significant contribution to the development of skills within a broad international network of professionals and addressing contemporary challenges in the field of information.
