NATO Basic Public Affairs Officer Course B (4-15 Nov 24)

From November 4 to 15, 2024, the Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Center (MPSOTC) hosted the specialized “NATO Public Affairs Officers’ School” at its facilities in Kilkis. The training program was attended by 39 officers from 16 countries, aiming to enhance their skills in public relations and strategic communications.

The MPSOTC’s training team, composed of experienced communication experts and journalists from Greece and abroad, in collaboration with NATO SHAPE, provided participants with top-quality instruction. The curriculum focused on crisis management, effective interaction with the media, and analysis of communication policies in both peacetime and operational contexts.

As part of the program, participants had the opportunity to visit archaeological sites and the studio of the public television broadcaster ERT-3 in Thessaloniki, enriching their practical and cultural knowledge.

With 14 years of experience in organizing Public Affairs programs, the MPSOTC has established itself as a leading training institution in Europe in the field of Strategic Communications. To date, it has trained approximately 800 participants from 49 countries, significantly contributing to the development of skills within a broad international network of professionals.

As a NATO, UN, and EU-certified training center, the MPSOTC is a cornerstone of international military education. Overall, it has trained more than 6,500 students from 110 countries, while its mobile training teams have delivered thousands of additional sessions in Greece and abroad, maintaining high standards of quality and global reliability.
