From March 31 to April 11, 2025, the Hellenic Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Center (MPSOTC) successfully conducted the 2025 iteration of the NATO PSOs Basic Course, welcoming 26 participants from 8 countries.
This comprehensive course is specifically designed to actively train and prepare Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs), law enforcement personnel, and civilians. Through a series of expertly delivered lectures and hands-on exercises, participants sharpened their soft skills, gained cutting-edge knowledge aligned with NATO and UN standards, and developed a profound understanding of complex operating environments. These efforts aimed to ensure participants are proficiently equipped for deployment in NATO-led and international Peace Support Operations.
As one of MPSOTC’s esteemed “NATO Approved” Courses, the 2025 iteration was led by experienced instructors from MPSOTC, BiH PSOTC, FINCENT and the Serbian CBRN CENTRE.
Our dedicated international team, comprising army officers, police personnel, lawyers, psychologists, combat medics, and Subject Matter Experts, delivered a thorough and impactful learning experience. The curriculum emphasized critical soft skills such as negotiation, mediation, effective communication, and media awareness. Participants also had the opportunity to bridge theory with practice during a three-day Field Training Exercise (FTX), which covered essential operational techniques such as checkpoint management, observation post operations, and patrolling.
