From 16 to 20 September 2024, the Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Center (MPSOTC), in collaboration with the School of Journalism and Mass Media of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), organized the “Safety for Journalists Training School.”
The course was attended by 18 Journalists and Media Professionals from three countries, with the primary goal of preparing them for the practical challenges of working as “war correspondents” and reporting from crisis areas. The training focused on reinforcing participants with the necessary skills for both physical, mental and intellectual preparation as they head into conflict zones.
A team of expert instructors in crisis journalism delivered the training, offering essential knowledge and practical skills to help journalists navigate the complex and often dangerous environments of war and conflict, within linear and no-linear threats.
