From 23 January to 3 February 2023, MPSOTC conducted the “Sea-Land Borders Security & Refugees/ Arms/Dual-Use Goods Control Course”.
During the course, 29 participants from 7 Countries had the opportunity to hone their skills on various border security topics at the tactical level, adding extra value to their professional backgrounds.
The training they received encompassed all aspects of Border Security and Management issues, including analyzing the new threat agenda and the modern challenges in the Border domain. Lectures included Human Behavioral Analysis for the detection of potential threats, FRONTEX perspectives concerning Border Management and other relative topics to Security issues. Finally, the class visited the Customs at the Greek borders, the MAKEDONIA airport and Thessaloniki Port (Cost Guard) to have the opportunity to observe live all the covered topics.
