The Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Centre (MPSOTC), under the auspices of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), successfully delivered the “Cross-Cultural Competence in CSDP Missions and Operations” (CCC) course, from February 3rd to 7th, 2025. This program aimed to equip participants with essential cross-cultural knowledge and skills while fostering a network of professionals adept at navigating cultural challenges and complexities in CSDP missions and operations.
The course featured a blend of informative lectures and hands-on workshops, covering key themes such as cross-cultural competence, the operationalization of culture, and best practices for cultural engagement in mission environments.
A diverse cohort of 32 professionals from seven countries participated, enhancing their cultural awareness and communication skills while aligning with CSDP standards. The diversity of backgrounds enriched discussions, allowing for a valuable exchange of experiences and perspectives.
As a proud member of the ESDC academic network, MPSOTC remains committed to delivering advanced training in partnership with the EU and other International Organizations to address evolving challenges in CSDP missions and operations.
