From October 21 to October 25, 2024, the MPSOTC, under the auspices of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), proudly delivered the “Integrated Border Management (IBM)” Course. Aimed at enriching participants’ understanding of IBM concepts within CSDP missions and operations.
The training combined a series of informative lectures with practical workshops, allowing participants to engage with core themes such as interagency cooperation, best practices, and the key aspects of IBM documentation.
The course brought together 22 professionals from five different countries, offering a unique opportunity to develop and enhance their border management skills and align them with CSDP standards. The diverse group benefited from the exchange of experiences and insights, with a strong focus on collaborative problem-solving and practical application in the complex/multidimensional field of border security.
As a proud member of the ESDC’s academic network, MPSOTC remains committed to delivering cutting-edge training, in partnership with International Organizations, to address the evolving challenges in border management and security. This course is part of MPSOTC’s ongoing efforts to ensure that its training programs stay relevant and effective in tackling contemporary security issues and challenges.
