From 1 to 12 July 2024 MPSOTC conducted the “Sea-Land Borders Security & Refugees/ Arms/Dual-Use Goods Control Course”.
During the course, 33 participants from 7 Countries had the opportunity to hone their skills on various border security topics at tactical level, adding extra value to their professional backgrounds.
Their training encompassed all aspects of Border Security and Management Issues, including an analysis of the new threat agenda and the modern challenges at the Border Security Domain. Additionally, the curriculum included Human Behavioral Analysis for the detection of potential non – linear threats, FRONTEX perspectives concerning Border Management and other relative topics to Security issues. Finally, the class visited the Customs at the Greek north borders, the “MAKEDONIA” international airport and Thessaloniki Port (Cost Guard Hub) having the opportunity to observe live all the covered topics.
